POSITION OVERVIEW:

Tech avenue Private limited is seeking a technically strong and customer-focused Manager – Network & Infrastructure (Presales & Post-Sales) to lead end-to-end technical engagement across the sales and delivery lifecycle. This role will drive solution design, technical strategy, and successful deployment for enterprise customers across cybersecurity, server infrastructure, network infrastructure, enterprise networking, and backup & archiving solutions. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with industry-leading platforms and technologies in these domains and can confidently lead technical discovery sessions, architecture design, solution demonstrations, proof of concepts (POCs), and implementation oversight.

Key Responsibilities & Technical Skills:

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with enterprise customers.
  • Design secure, scalable, and high-performance solution architectures.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, solution presentations, and technical workshops.
  • Drive Proof of Concepts (POCs) and technical evaluations.
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with detailed technical documentation.
  • Partner with Sales teams to develop winning technical strategies.
  • Lead transition from presales to implementation teams.
  • Oversee deployment planning, architecture validation, and solution execution.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and customer requirements.
  • Act as escalation point for technical challenges.
  • Leading & Managing Pre sale and Post sale Teams.
  • Conduct design reviews and quality checks during implementation.
  • Ensure successful solution acceptance and handover to support teams.
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise network infrastructures, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security
  • Develop end-to-end network architectures and solutions based on customer requirements, business needs, and industry best practices
  • Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot enterprise-grade routers, switches, and firewalls in production environments
  • Design, deploy, and support IPSec tunnels, site-to-site VPNs, and remote access VPN solutions for secure connectivity
  • Deploy, manage, and troubleshoot firewall security policies, NAT, and security protocols, ensuring compliance with organizational security standards
  • Implement and manage SD-WAN solutions, including link optimization, policy-based routing, and centralized management
  • Implement enterprise network security controls using industry-standard security mechanisms, encryption, and authentication protocols
  • Support enterprise infrastructure and data center operations, including core, distribution, and access layer networks
  • Ensure network resiliency and performance through redundancy design, failover mechanisms, and performance tuning
  • Perform proactive network monitoring, capacity planning, root-cause analysis, and advanced troubleshooting
  • Provide technical support and escalation support to customers during deployment, migration, and post-implementation phases
  • Act as a technical point of contact for customers, gathering requirements, explaining solutions, and providing expert guidance
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, HLDs/LLDs, configuration guides, and implementation reports
  • Deploy, manage, and support Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy
  • Administer and support mail server platforms / enterprise mail systems
  • Manage virtualization platforms including VMware ESXi and vCenter, covering VM provisioning, resource optimization, and high availability
  • Install, configure, and maintain enterprise servers (physical and virtual), including OS hardening and performance tuning
  • Deploy and manage endpoint security solutions such as antivirus, EDR, and endpoint protection platforms
  • Implement and maintain patch management systems to ensure OS and application compliance and security updates
  • Manage backup and disaster recovery solutions, including backup scheduling, monitoring, restoration testing, and DR planning
  • Collaborate with internal engineering teams, vendors, and technology partners to ensure successful solution delivery and issue resolution

  • Establish solution design standards and best practices.
  • Support skill development and certifications within the team.
  • Align technical strategy with business growth objectives.
  • Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for management

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related field
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of hands-on experience in network engineering and administration
  • Proven experience with above mentioned solutions/domains
  • Experience in designing and implementing network projects from scratch

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:

Certifications (Nice to Have):

  • CCNA or equivalent
  • CEH or equivalent
  • Any OEM specific certification for the product/solution mentioned above.

 

SOFT SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, especially when interacting with customers
  • Proven ability to gather customer requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Customer-focused mindset with experience in pre-sales support, solution design, and post-sales support
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environment

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work Mode: Onsite
  • Working Hours: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday
  • Travel: Occasional travel to customer premises or data centers may be required
