About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, initiate, and manage software development projects from conception to completion
- Define project scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and designers
- Monitor project progress and ensure deliverables meet quality standards
- Identify and manage project risks and issues proactively
- Maintain stakeholder communication and manage expectations
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, and presentations
- Facilitate meetings and ensure adherence to project timelines and budgets
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
- Proficiency with project management tools (JIRA, Asana, Monday.com, MS Project)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Leadership and team coordination skills
- Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar
- Experience with Agile/Scrum frameworks
- Familiarity with software development concepts
- Experience in technical project management
- Knowledge of resource planning and budget management
- Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies
