About the Role
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Perform manual testing across web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track software bugs with detailed reports
- Collaborate with developers to ensure bugs are properly fixed and verified
- Perform regression testing and ensure quality standards are met
- Participate in test automation initiatives and write automated test scripts
- Conduct performance and security testing
- Maintain test documentation and quality metrics
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices
- Knowledge of test planning, execution, and reporting
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
- Understanding of different testing types (functional, regression, integration)
- Excellent documentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with test automation frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia)
- Familiarity with SQL for database testing
- Experience with performance testing tools
- Knowledge of mobile testing concepts
- Basic understanding of scripting languages (Python, JavaScript)
